WORKING IN UAE AS A REGISTERED NURSE

Working as a registered  in a government hospital here in UAE is financially enough, only until a certain limit of age. When you reach 55-60 years old, a nurse can be considered on the list of those who might be in "ENDO" (which means end of contract). Whether you are still capable of working but to reach this stage means one should be financially ready to go at anytime.  So, this can actually be done if this person is wise enough to just think of nothing else each day but how to save and save and save. If you have this in mind, then it is doable to be financially free by the time you reach your ENDO.  Otherwise, you can still enjoy working abroad when you start planning on your next move and invest for the next country from here. Yes, I guess moving to either UK or US before having ENDO is a great idea especially now that the inflation rate in Philippines is so overwhelming talking about the high gas prices and the shortage of sugar plus the threat of another pandemic are t

PHILIPPINES SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PERFECT PLACE TO LIVE AND ENJOY

Working as a registered nurse in a government hospital abroad is worth well compensated because of the loads of work and responsibilities that one must endure and what not for a Filipino. Being an OFW is known to be a multitask player more so if you work as a nurse. And for this reason, Filipinos are  preferred to love for a company because of the many special qualities that we have. Yes, that's how we should be proud of being a Filipino. Flexibility and resilience are our innate qualities that make us to work hard and be so productive that our own country surely missed this amazing idea.  Working in a healthcare setting is vulnerable to get infected with coronavirus infection. And aside from this, I also considered every person na i

What I Earned on Nursing I Invested In Cryptocurrency II OFW story of savings

Image
After years of hardwork in nursing, I started to got bored and ventured in cryptocurrency one and a half years ago. Few years ago, I was totally ignorant on the art of saving. Hanggang sa dumating ang panahon na I felt boredom in my daily routine of working as a nurse. An OFW here in UAE. Working in a givernment hospital here in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of UAE.  I started thinking about savings since only 3 years ago. That time, the savings I knew were the SSS, Pag-Ibig and the piggy bank. During those times, I was only into FB postings. Until during my annual vacation to Philippines on 2018, I noticed my son who was 12 years old that time.  He does musically and he has a youtube channel. Natuwa naman ako sa kanya dahil bukod sa madami syang subscribers sa yt channel nya, marami pang views ang kanyang video uploads. To tell the story short, tinuruan nya ako kung pano nga gawin ang yt channel. Since pinagalitan ko siya that time kasi bumaba ang mga grades nya.  So, nagsimula kong a

My Journey to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Vaccine

Working as a nurse in a clinical setting is so challenging and at times struggling. One of the struggles that I met along the way is the fight of the pandemic coronavirus. Not only that it is physically exhausting but also emotionally and psychologically.  I'd say that it is physically exhausting because over time of taking care of patients, I have to be more cautious in practicing infection control. And I've reached to a point of considering everyone in front or near to me is infected to keep myself protected and stay away of the infection. And so far, I have been so right in being like that. The wearing of layes of face masks, N95, KN95, face shield, level III PPE and so on.  Emotionally exhausted because it has been 2 long years that I wasn't able to go home to my home country, Philippines. As a healthcare worker, we are restricted to travel. This alone makes us work like it's forever and only hope for the best each day. Up to this date, there have been a lot of pro
